RecommendedThis our second time to the Resort and that’s a good sign we liked our first visit. Id like to specifically thank the beach staff. 🏖 Aside from having to scold the same 60+ year old guests not to hoard beach towels, the staff are always polite and willing dig an umbrella hole or hear the same suntan jokes. ⛱ Id also like to thank the “Starbucks” baristas. They’re the people that start everyone’s morning cup of Joe ☕️ and are expected to know all recipes handed down by previous Italian Barista and Pastry 🥮 generations. 🤣. ... read more

Customer service was the worst. From front desk to wait staff at seaside bar. (well waitress at brunch was very nice!) I think we must have missed memo about no minorities welcome weekend.
Very relaxing You can walk to the island when it is low tide.

Only about 50% of the guests are wearing masks so if that bothers you, do not choose this place for a vacation.

Had an amazing weekend here celebrating my moms 60th birthday. Highly recommend staying in the ocean front villas. The bistro food was just okay. Sunday brunch was awesome.
Beautiful place to spend a few days during covid. Our room overlooking Long Island sound was spacious and clean. The grounds were beautiful. Disappointed that we couldn’t sit at any of the bars due to covid restrictions....maybe next time. The entire staff was friendly and attentive....particularly James at the bar, restaurant and lounge. They were all working under very trying circumstances and everyone did the best they could. The only thing I missed was not having a coffee maker in the room. Room very small for the money. Front desk staff not very hospitable. Sunset Bar and Grill, would not recommend at all . Inattentive manager Derek. It appears a million things to do, does not include being attentive to guests, only staring out to the water. I have video.. If I could leave metric scores this would be very low as in 0. The staff need hospitality training ASAP! Will not be back!! If your looking for CT Shoreline stay visit Madison Beach Hotel!!
