Beautiful location on Connecticut shoreline ... facility well appointed, service staff adequate, bartenders need a course in guest focused service strategy!
Great message but not enough help in the spa or restaurant. There was one person who stood out as for going of her way to help - Anabel in the spa. She gave great customer service and the spa should be proud to have her as their spokesperson. My sister lost her earrings and Annabel went thru the laundry and food no them. She them assured us that our things would always be safe at their spa. Great spokesperson! An asset to the organization. I love Waters Edge. I was married here 25 years ago. We return a few times a year and love the Mother's Day brunch. Excellent.

Nancy and Nicole are FABULOUS!!!! My daughter's bridal shower was yesterday. Guests are raving about the room, the food, and the service!!! Thank you so very much!!
My wife and I just came for our 1 year wedding anniversary and still cannot believe that a venue offers free dinner and free couples massage as part of your wedding package. The dinner was INCREDIBLE and service amazing. Nancy our coordinator said hi and asked how we are, Mike the GM said hi and was super nice, Drew at the front door was super nice and Dereck took care of us again at the bar. Couldn't recommend this place more!
Blinds in room do not close so prepare to NOT sleep in, also can hear everything in neighboring rooms as walls are paper thin. Indoor hot tub heater was broken. Front desk staff friendly but clueless when complained. Need more staff at indoor bar area, poor service due to be my understaffed, bartenders tried their best to keep up with volume... overall disappointed will not go back.

Very mixed. The view and location are very nice. While we were there the indoor pool and jacuzzi were cold, the staff said they needed to order a part. The indoor pool is also in disrepair and dirty. The steam room was not working, the sauna was ok. The women's locker room was dirty and dingy. The actual spa services are nice and the hotel rooms are pleasant. If you're looking for a spa resort try another location, if you're looking for a pleasant hotel on the sound and don't care much about the indoor pool and jacuzzi this ... read more
