After 20+ years, our Kinetico drinking water system finally gave out. We called Kinetico, and their serviceman Shane Peterson made the 2.5-hour drive out to where we live to assess the situation. He was amazed to see that we "still had" this old system, and discussed options with us in a clear and convincing fashion. He installed an up-to-date system with a ten-year warranty that will usher us into old age. Chris was very knowledgeable and professional. From the time of purchase to installation was very expedient. Chris spent extra time checking and rechecking to make sure there were no leaks and everything was properly pressurized. Great warranty and reputation made us choose Kinetico.
We moved from Oregon to WA recently, and the home we bought had issues with rust and sulphur. The well system was Kinetico but was over 30 years old. The sulphur gas was so bad it was making my family nauseous and physically ill! We called the Water Doctor folks who suggested several options. We ultimately chose to completely replace the aging system and add new filtration system. The Water Doctor folks bent over backwards to assure we were fixed the VERY NEXT DAY! Finally after over 20 years we can clean our sinks, tubs, and toilets and they don't turn yellow....the water is so much softer and we can drink our water because it doesn't smell!
I have had a kinetico water system for over 7 years and I love it. It is worry free and completely cleans my water of iron and neutralizes the ph. The guys who come to maintain it are so friendly and efficient. It was more expensive than the home Depo variety, but well worth the price as it works beautifully. Maintenance costs are extremely low and WA doctor takes care of everything. They are a great company with a great product.
