Thanks so much to the wonderful staff at the at Washington Dog & Cat Hospital. Our puppy Cleo developed an unexpected emergency which was handled with thoroughness and expertise. Many many thanks to Drs. Barron, Fowler and Wong for providing superb care as well as the compassionate vet technicians who were supportive to her and me throughout her confinement at the hospital. I finally had to put my boy to sleep today. We had a glorious five extra months together though thanks to the fine staff here. During this time my beagle and I spent as many moments together as possible, taking long evening walks and just spending time with each other. I know he was happy. We have been taking our dogs and cats to Washington Dog & Cat for twenty years. I have always found the staff and veterinarians to be caring and friendly. Dr. Marks is an outstanding vet. I have gone through various surgeries, general examinations and shots and put down two dogs and two cats over the years. The service has always been very good.
Excellent establishment! The front desk staff is smart and capable, both in person and over the phone. My cat and I were immediately led into an exam room when a dog was brought into the waiting room, to keep my cat's stress to a minimum. I met with Dr. Fowler and spoke on the phone with both Dr. Fowler and Dr. Bednarek. Dr. Bednarek called me to discuss my cat's lab results because Dr. Fowler wasn't on the schedule until the next day. Dr. Wong is the reason to take your pet to WD&C Hospital. My family dog had a lump above his eye, so a friend highly recommended Dr. Wong. We found out that the lump was cancer, and Dr. Wong was able to quickly remove the tumor in a minimally evasive and cost effective way. The stitches looked terrific. My parents were debating whether to have our dog go through radiation. Dr. Wong was incredibly patient and took the time to explain the pros, cons, and costs.
