I love this place. I've never had a problem and the food is tasty and affordable. I don't know what everyone was expecting with the restaurant. Its more like a take out restaurant or a place that someone can go to get a quick bite to eat. When I go here I'm not expecting gourmet food...just comfort food. I don't know if they are all the exact same place, but I also have been to the locations at the corner of Millbrook and Atlantic and the on is Apex. Never had a problem those locations either.
Worst of everything – Lousy service, bad ingredients, poorly prepared, small portions, dirty seating area; I've never posted an on-line entry before but I was so disappointed from bringing this food home to my family that I wanted to warn the rest of you. This will be a good test for the power of the internet and capitalism/free markets in general; if either work, this place won't be around much longer.
Some of the best Chinese in the Triangle – I'm astounded by the number of negative posts compared to positive. I've been ordering from Wang's for years. Compared to other choices they simply are one of the best in the area. It is true that the customer service isn't always the best on weekends but I've found that is due to them being very busy taking orders from customers that LOVE their food. Go Anywhere else! – Lets see: 1. They randomly add things to your order and charge you for them even when you did not ask for them. 2. If you add your order up yourself with a calculator you will find that they don't and its always a few dollars more expensive then it should be. 3. I'd rather lick ground squirrels! – When I first moved to the area in 2002, Wang's was great. They had friendly counter people, and the restaurant was always clean and the food fantastic. My, how times have changed! The restaurant itself is filthy and non-climate controlled. Dine-in experience was miserable. – We had received menus for Wang's Kitchen, delivered to our home twice, and had been eagerly looking forward to eating there. Today we tried eating in at Wang's on Creedmoor Road. But we were extremely disappointed. I just could not recommend Wang's for dine-in. dont eat this food, try somthing healthy – Worse food, nasty people if you call they dont know where you live and the owner deliver his advertising brochures all over raleigh, when the people call to deliver they dont inform that the restaurant is far away and your dinner is gonna take a long time. great takeout – great food, great service. i would recommend the dumplings. i order this jam every god damned night. it's pretty felatiously good.
s*** in a box – the service is terrible they could not get my address correct nor my name. When they brought my food the delivery man about ran over my kids playing in the street. They drive like maniacs! Plus Mr.Wang himself is very rude! plus the food was just thrown together....this is a no go!
