Original- Great service, but the food was kind of bland. I will say that the dessert was pretty great. This wouldn't be in my top picks of places to eat, but I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go. Update- We have been back a few times since my original review. The food has been great each time. The staff is always amazing as well. Even when understaffed they make sure you're taken care of. Their fresh baked goods are delicious and a must have. If you get a chance stop in and try them out.

This is the kind of small town diner where locals and travelers eat, because it is the real deal! I've been a Walker's fan since I was a little kid in 1968, because their food is always good, their pies are delicious, and the place is clean. I especially like their Sunday specials and the hot beef sandwiches. Over the years, the restaurant has been updated a few times, but the new owners made sure it still retains its cool 1960s vibe. Be sure to stop in and check it out!
Was in town for a visit and stopped here for breakfast. Grew up in Beaver Dam but don’t ever remember eating here as a child. Food was fresh and hot. Service was excellent. Even had a malt with my breakfast. AMAZING. So much so I brought my Mom back for lunch. Saw the owner Paul working hard and even taking the time to chat with his customers. Nice to see that an owner puts his heart into is business. If you have never been there it’s a must.
