RecommendedPros: Washer/dryer, 2 master bedrooms with bathrooms, half bath downstairs, good sized kitchen, and updated appliances. Close to the Navy base and grocery stores. Cons: Near a creek which can breed bugs. However, management has been good about providing traps and having the exterminator do the inside of my house as well as having maintenance check for potential problems. And it should be noted that it was not an army of bugs invading my home. just occasionally seeing a lone bug, but the exterminator took care of that.
Great Place to Live. Very friendly staff
So this place is a little dated but the management seems very comitted to fixing anything brought to their attention. The place is huge for the rent charged. Yard is small but it's still a yard. Feel like some of the grumbly comments were from people that haven't seen the "gems" Norfolk has to offer in this price range. Have seen a total of one waterbug (dead) in my shed. My husband and I lived here for 2.5 years and it’s an incredible place to call home. The bedrooms are so massive you can do cartwheels in them (speaking from personal experience) and the staff is amazing. The office and maintenance people are so helpful which is invaluable when you live far from family. If we needed anything they were only a call away and whatever issue we had (which was hardly ever) was taken care of the same day or early the next. I really can’t say enough about the exceptional customer service exhibited by Jen and Mike. Whenever I need anything, I receive such a quick response and resolution. I feel like I have a personal concierge service. I am so glad we decided to move to Walker’s Chase. Our unit is amazing and we are so proud to live here. I even referred a friend and he has been treated like family as well. There is nothing that could make me happier and I am very particular about where I choose to live. Thank you Jen and Mike!
I have been here for 2 month now and I love living here. The layout of the apartment is fantastic and the staff has been really friendly and helpful with everything. Mike does a excellent job as maintenance person. Thank for everything!
I lived here for 15 years and I can tell you this is an excellent place to live. This was my home and it broke my heart to have to move from here. I miss it very much. Jeff is the greatest maintenance man there is. For the person who thought he was rude, you are very wrong. He is very nice, funny, witty and does everything he can to get your problem fixed. As far as the office staff some were great, some not so great, they come and go. I loved my unit, loved living here.
