Walgreens is an OK place to shop, BUT the treatment of a vet by this manager in Mesquite, TX is horrible. You can bet I will never darken the door of this store! Everyone should "like" Walgreens page then share the video.
I recently saw a video of the treatment of an Iraq war veteran being asked to leave due to having his service dog (who was perfectly behaved in the video) in the store. How deplorable that a MANAGER ask someone to leave after they've given proof that the dog they have with them is, in fact, a SERVICE ANIMAL. Really??? Kicking a veteran out of your store because he brought his service dog in with him? I'm pretty sure you violated the law, you DEFINITELY haven't represented your organization well AT ALL and Walgreens knows what's right for PR to clean up the hideous mess that you've created, you'll soon be relieved of your duties. You should be ASHAMED of yourself.
The Manager needs to be fired
That manager that didn't allow the veteran to bring his service dog in the store - should be fired! Shame on him & shame on Walgreens! If this is the way this store treats our veterans & soldiers who sacrifice their lives for us - I WILL NO LONGER SHOP at Walgreens & FOR SURE not at any in Mesquite, Tx!
I can't believe Walgreens (the only drug store I USED to shop at) would treat someone in such a manner. This man is a human being and the circumstances are more crucial because he is also a hero who risked his life for this country. I demand a public apology to not only Mr. Chris and Ben, but to all our family members currently serving and whom are no longer serving in the U.S. Military. There was no need for the harassment or the rudeness.
Shame Shame. Doesn't say a lot for his upbringing.
