Your employees should know the full facts as to their rights when it comes to service animals. 1. Be polite at all times as well as private and professional. Granted some people aren't going to be the same when they are confronted but then you don't know what their issues are. 2. You do not have the right to refuse service unless the dog or handler in question is doing something wrong or acting unruly. I stopped using Walgreens in January due to poor customer service and disrespectful , insensitive employees while trying to fill a prescription related to my cancer treatment. I am absolutely appalled that the poor treatment extends to our vets. The very people who give that manager his daily freedoms and make it possible for him to work while so many vets struggle with unemployment and homelessness. awarding you NO STARS! What a disgusting set of employee's you had in your store the day you refused service to a disabled veteran because he was being assisted by his service dog! Your store makes me sick!!
I will make sure that my entire family knows how you treat a veteran with a service dog. This man fought for your freedom and this happens shame on you. I will not be going to Walgreens ever again and I will make sure my family and friends boycott you as well. I think media coverage is needed for this it wasn't right and that manager should be sued and fired.
I hope corporate does something to resolve this issue because that mans dog was allowed in the building and a tag is all the is required as the "vest" isn't required for service dogs
