I had two appointments with this office in a short time span, and both were missed by the doctor with very little notification. I'm not rating the doctor, but the communication from the team at this office was very poor. I will give them one more chance, but finding someone else after this if they fail to communicate again. I drove an hour only to find out the doctor was out on an emergency.
1 year for appointments to fix a problem with using a CPAP for the first time. They have no problem getting you to buy a machine. Oh, you want it to work? That'll be a year.
Wakemed said I have severe sleep apnea. They prescribed a machine. I go get the machine and the won't let you test it until you are home. Mask doesn't fit and it is suffocating me. This group says come back and we'll help IN 12 MONTHS! Now keep in mind I have to use it 4 hours a night otherwise my insurance screws me and I have to give it back. Is this Russia? I chose to do the sleep study at home. They provided all of the equipment I needed and showed me how to set everything up. Everything went well. My only complaint is that when they updated myChart here is what it said: After Visit Summary 5/23/2025 3:30 PM WakeMed Healthpark of Kildaire Sleep Lab Today's Visit You were seen on Friday May 23, 2025. What's Next - That's it. No results, no message saying that results were sent to my Primary Care Dr. and he would call me to discuss. Nothing of value. Really poor communications.... read more
