Nice enough people, but a very unhelpful visit. Waited 3 months to get an appointment, then the doctor was basically trying to walk out of the room within 5 minutes of entering. I felt rushed out of there, and I wasn't able to get any sort of helpful information about potential causes or next steps to try for the digestive issues I've been experiencing for a few years. Dr. Ahmed is professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained everything clearly and created a thoughtful plan moving forward. Brenda, the nurse, was incredibly helpful and had a great attitude throughout the visit. Overall, a very positive experience!
I was referred to gastro from the WakeMed ER. They worked me in the next week. They have treated me with upmost respect while working towards a diagnosis. I had some issues with my insurance not liking how I was referred but they did everything they could to assist me in getting that taken care of. The staff is very nice and the facilities are clean.
