The quality of care and level of professionalism was very poor. This facility has a practice of upselling surgery based on what insurance will pay. They don't take accountability or responsibility for mistakes or negligence. I am thankful that I am still alive to share the truth with others. WakeMed could have cost me my life and at this point they have not even provided so much as an apology. Absolutely wonderful staff and Doctors are the best .
The operators and customer service is horrible. I WAS TOLD TO HOLD ON AFTER A LONG WAIT, HUNG UP ON ME WITHOUT CONSULT ...THE OFFICE HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT GREAT DOCTORS
Former patient. No need for the cute response from the practice about contacting you to fix it. I won’t. My surgery was successful I had the sleeve 5 years ago and haven’t regained more than 10-15 lbs. I’m down 120. I work out 5 days a week and eat clean, so that part is fine. The practice however is one of the worst I’ve ever come in contact with for patient care. They have zero respect for your time. You will wait for hours to be seen and they will not care.
