The worst experience ever. Their billing office is just a bunch of morons that don't know anything. Be aware of these scammers they will lie to you in the face and then stab you in the back. They send my bill to collection agency even after they spoke with me 4x and also spoke with my attorney. They harm my perfect credit score and i will make sure somebody will be responsible for this.
They made a mistake on my billing and then sent my account to collections. I talked to Emergency Physicians 3 times and they assured me that they had fixed their mistake. I am still getting calls from the collection agency! They do not seem to care about their customers credit.
My daughter had a fiberglass sliver removed from her lip at the ER. They spent a maximum of about 20 minutes with us, pulled the sliver out by hand with no pain killer, sent her for an ultrasound to be sure it was all out, and put some dermabond on the wound. They then sent me a bill (which insurance did not cover) of $478 for a level IV ER visit plus $401 for 'wound repair.' The care may be okay but the fee is over double the price the insurance figures reasonable. They are NOT even participating with Blue Cross Blue Shield becaue they charge soooo much. Look out if you have to go any of the Wake Med ER. They staff all the ER associated with Wake Med. Even if Wake Med is prefered by your insurance these Drs. are NOT unless you have Cigna. They charged over $600 and all they did was decide I should be transfered to Duke. All of the DUKE Dr. fees for a week in the hospital cost me less out of pock... read more
