Why doesn't somebody clean these WAJ properties up? Move into a WAJ property and you're asking for gang vandalism/destruction,unsanitary garbage, and drug activity. Mgmt turns a blind eye to conditions and gives free reign to anything.They don't live here!They just don't care as long as they make their money.If you are poor/aging / handicapped, FORGET IT! Wonderful apartment living! My experience living on a property that is managed by WAJ Management has been nothing but positive. All maintenance issues are handled promptly and the staff has been nothing but helpful and considerate. The biggest problem has to do with obnoxious and inconsiderate tenants who treat the facilities, staff, and management company with no respect. Do NOT Rent from!!! When I first moved in the property was well maintained, but since new on-site management has taken over everything has gone downhill. The property is no longer landscaped on a regular basis, the dumpster fences are falling apart, people throw their trash anywhere but in the dumpsters, and maintenece problems do not get fixed. Lyonswalk is a GHETTO! The complaints on this blog are true. It has all happened to me. Decent, good people are leaving because gangs of youth are ruling this property. Long-time residents,some poor and disabled, are treated like garbage. These are the people that don't cause trouble, pay their rent on time and are NOT involved in criminal activity. Avoid - poorly managed apartment complexes I am a resident of a WAJ Management apartment complex. The service and facilities have been steadily going downhill for more than 6 months. Our dumpsters are often full to overflowing because they're not picked up often enough, gang activity has increased because they have stopped encouraging police presence, our laundry room is now only open when the office is open because it was vandalized and they won't increase security, and we have inspections of the apartments with only 1 busi... read more
DON'T DO IT Lyons Walk Apt in kernersville, NC management is not good along with there so call maintains person ,that's when she is not getting the tenants, kids or family members to do the work for her. A walk through my apartment was never painted before I moved in and did let management know and nothing was ever done. I WILL PAY MORE .
Superior Management and Development company Residents facing lease violations or eviction retaliate against management with slanderous ratings and reviews. WAJ has the responsibility to evict problem tenants to maintain the integrity and safety of ALL residents. Horrible Property and managers!!!!! I lived at one of the locations for 8 years!!! They went up on the rent 4 times within that period with no renovations!!!!! During Covid my sink broke the property manager told me to use my bathtub as a resolution!!!! I had to call her boss just to get my sink unclogged even after showing negative Covid test!!
