I was taking a client from the valley to halifax for treatments and my GPS suddenly stopped working. I popped in there to get directions. She was so kind and helpful. Printed me off a map
I would like to say the VON nurses work hard, compassionate and caring. They are often required to work insane amounts of mandated overtime. I would say 99% of the nurses deserve 5 stars. The problem is scheduling and management. I have ALS and live on my own. I need the visits. I have had a diabetic foot ulcer for 5 months. 50% of my visits been cancelled, and fall to the backup plan. The backup plan as there are no nurses and I am supposed to administer the bandage myself problem is it’s on the bottom of my feet and it’s b... read more
Horrible horrible service. They often don't show up at all. Rude staff upon calling. I am extremely disappointed with this service.
We were fortunate for the support from von for both my grandparents. Each nurse was kind and compassionate. We were lucky enough to know the ongoing schedule for the most part and my grandmother was familiar with most of the nurses who visited her over the years. We thank you for this.
