We purchase our car from Volvo Military Sales overseas but picked it up in OKC at this dealership. The "gentleman" who assisted us insinuated that since we did military sales we didn't deserve the dealership customer service. Therefore our call was not cleaned and he would not answer any of our questions on getting a US software download or other US features. Negotiated with the manager for the entire week and planned on a coming weekend to drive over 6 hours to purchase. I begged the manager to hold it for literally 1 day because I was driving from a different state, but he said he couldn't. I offered a deposit, but he stated CA policy states that car dealers can't accept deposits to hold a car. I recommend never buying a Volvo from Tom Wood. They have the only dealership in the area and their service department is terrible. I’ve owned a dozen cars and the service for the Volvo, which breaks down a lot, is the worst and most expensive ever. BUYER BEWARE: purchased a used car from this dealership. The ad they placed on Auto Trader did not match the car on their lot. I found this out after I purchased it and they blamed it on Auto Trader. After 3000 miles, the AC has gone out, cost to repair quoted by my mechanic, $950. The dealership offered to check it out and give me a discount on the repair. They confirmed it was the condenser at a cost to repair of $1200 discounted to surprise, $950. So after 3000 miles I'm out an extra $1000.
