My family and I have been loyal customers to Volvo of Lisle for years dating back to the 1980s. Went in to get my car serviced last week and was completely refused service at all because my car was modified. They refused to further service it at all even with all the business and loyalty we have shown them over the years. So very insulted.

When your vehicle was in our shop, we contacted the manufacturer and they advised us that the aftermarket software that you had uploaded to the vehicle could not be over-written by OEM software and that Polestar software would have to be repurchased. As a Volvo dealer we are obligated to follow the manufacturer’s directions. Sorry we could not do more for you and your vehicle.
Another sales person contacted a lead while we were in negotiation for a vehicle and sold the car we wanted out from under us while toward the end of negotiation. The manager had no qualms about this.
Sold me a used xc60 without updating the sound system software. Brought it to their attention and they said you have a warranty. However warranties don't cover software upgrades. Shitty customer service and the inspections aren't through enough. This should be a standard check list item.

We purchased your 2014 S60 here and had all the maintenance done here until my prescription sunglasses got stolen here. I'm more disappointed with the way the service manager handled the theft then the actual theft. The service manager told me that because none of his staff admitted to stealing the glasses he don't believe it happened there. I reiterated to him that I drove into the garage with them on my face, swapped then with my regular glasses and the very next time I got into the car the sunglasses were gone. His advise... read more
