We knew the poor guy desperately needs help but didn’t know how to help - we called you at 9:30am ( We knew your organization thanks to Westbury Children Library educational programs ) and the turtle was admitted to your facility by 11am! Wishing him all the best, our family was so happy today that you took him right away to save. Thank you!!!

Unbelievable rescue by Volunteers for Wildlife! With Jim Jones manning the situation from the shore, Lauren took a kayak out and guided a deer who was stuck in the low tide mud safely back to land. Emergency responders from both houses were there. Communities come together to help their wildlife!
They are an amazing group! They helped us with a baby possum last night. Thank you for all your hard work and love you have for these animals.

Emailed volunteers for wildlife last night about an injured baby goose that was left behind in my neighborhood. They emailed me right back letting me know they had received a call from a neighbor. They followed up today saying the neighbor had brought the bird to another wildlife rehab facility. We need more places like volunteers for wildlife. I made a small donation and I’m planning on volunteering with them. Thanks!
