New Menu- Better than ever! – Went here with my husband on a recommendation from a friend. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were seated promptly according to our reservation. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly without being bothersome. The wine selection was good. We shared calamari and a salad to start, both were fresh and tasty. My husband had sea bass which was excellent and I had a homemade pasta dish which I thoroughly enjoyed. No room for dessert but we'll try when we return. A very good dinin... read more

I have been dreaming... – Of the Prosciutto wrapped salad with melon sauce. So 5280 week four of us headed out to try this new neighborhood dining establishment. Well, our expectations were met and then some. Service was AWESOME, had a really cute server, friendly, prompt, fabulous recommendations. The place is beautiful, lighting is perfect with these big draped lights that look like the inside of a portabella mushroom all lit up. The food was incredible, unique and my taste buds were doing the wave! Have you ever bitten in... read more

Delectable. – I went to Vita tonight for their Restaurant Week special, and everything, from the apps to dessert, was heaven in my mouth. The lamb was tender and flavorful, the gnocchi literally melted in my mouth, and the gelato was simply the best I've had in all of Denver. The flavors and preparation were spot on.

Can't wait to go back... – We were in Denver a couple of weeks ago and visited Vita on our first day. It was so good we went back 2 more times during our visit! We had been introduced to Chef Max MacKissock?s fabulous food at the GNT in Keystone and were thrilled to find out that he had moved to ?the city?! We "managed" to try several of the dishes and my favorite has to be the crispy polenta sandwich?it melts in your mouth! My husband is crazy about the hangar steak with Hannah yam puree and our daughter loves the marinated... read more

Excellent fig, procuitto, spinach and gorgonza salad. – The Highland neighborhood is really coming into its own with quite a number of excellent restaurants. Vita is a welcomed addition. It's quite upscale and seems to get better with every bite (I've been there three times, two shortly after opening and they are continually improving.) It has a very sultry atmosphere and the food is delicious. The scallops are a super win, the fig, Prosciutto, spinach and gorgonzola salad I order regularly, the sea bass was wonderful, etc.)... read more

Best New Restaurant in the Lower Highlands! – This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant but felt it was worth saying something! I have been to Vita a few times since it opened in mid-December and every time I go I experience something new and delicious!! From the delicate roasted mushroom gnocchi, the winter squash lasagna to my absolute favorite, the Beef Tenderloin with whipped potatoes - - the menu is always consistent and full of wonderful flavors! Executive Chef, Max Mackissock has really out-done himself on t... read more

Lower Highlands Italian restaurant features flavor-packed tastes, live music and top-notch wines. – In Short Something of everything can be found at this eatery: It's a mecca for swank Italian food, a sleek bar and a late-night destination for hungry revelers. Thursday nights bring jazz musicians to the restaurant for live music, which only reinforces the decidedly smooth atmosphere. Well-heeled diners slide into curved, black leather booths or sit at ebony-toned tables and nibble on dishes such as lobster meatballs, bouilla... read more
