This place intentionally stole money by adding charges to our credit cards after we had signed and paid the bill! – The food is way over priced for what you get. I ordered salmon. It was farm-raised atlantic and for the money, I expect fresh, wild, alaskan sockeye salmon. The ambiance is dramatic and intimate but the acoustics don't lend themselves well to conversation. Greatest Happy Hour Deals - fun for meeting your girlfriends out after work – Happy hour is great! 2 generous glasses of wine for the price of one. Also great deals on food! Fun environment. Great round tables to meet your closest girlfriends out after work. Great location. Close to the Highlands, Downtown, between the Speer exit and the 20th exit off of I-25. Great service as well!
good stuff! – I've been to vita several times - it's in the neighborhood - and I've never experienced anything bad -- food or service. Service is always great, when i'm not sure what I want, my servers always come through with a good recommendation, on both food and wine. The bartenders are also well versed in the fare the restaurant serves as well as the wine and cocktails they serve (cocktails are fantastic by the way). Great patios, some great food, bad, bad service – This a pretty good place, but it needs some work up front to move to the next level. Vita suffers from three things - 1. Very bad house staff. The wait staff is lazy, uninformed on the menu, sloppy and at times rude. This does a huge disservice to a great dinner menu. Some of the bar staff is great, some should be washing dishes, seriously. Best Service I've Had In Years – It seems every time I go out to eat with my boyfriend, it's the same wearisome scenario. Stuck-up hosts, slow waiters, uninterested management, and bartenders that only serve you if you're waiving a $100 bill in their face. Vita, on the other hand, was a refreshing change from the snobby service I have experienced at similar restaurants. Vita? more like VETO – We recently moved to the Lo-Hi section of town and decided to check out the much acclaimed Vita. Vita Rocked My World! – When I first stepped through the front "gates" to Vita, my jaw literally dropped. This restaurant is beyond gorgeous! Candles blanket the walkway as you walk to one of their many fine tables. You have your choice of sitting in one of their cushy black booths, or choose a table by their window, overlooking the entire Denver skyline. Terrible :-( – I have never posted a comment on this site, but after my experience here I thought I needed to. I was looking for a nice place to take my friends who were in town visiting from AZ. Great date! – Went for 5280 Restaurant Week and had a great meal! The menu is intriguing - we'll definately be back for dinner. Decor is very modern - it's a great place to take a date. In the summer it looks like they have patio seating with a great view of downtown. Check it out!
