The best experience purchasing glasses and contacts When I first came to the store I was greeted promptly by a smiling sales person. I needed to have an eye exam and they set me up as a walk-in appointment. The doctor was great he took his time and was very professional. Once my exam was done I got two pairs of glasses one clear and one sun-glass and they were both done in an hours wait time. I was very pleased overall and will go back. Visionworks I liked the dr. who did my eye exam and I liked the deal I got on my glasses. They were great about fixing my glasses when my dog used them for a chew toy. They could use more staff working during busy hours. It's difficult to get assistance when you go to the store.
Horrible experience! I went in on Sat to pick up the 2 pairs I ordered (they never called me to let me know they arrived, of course!) there were so many people there that they could not keep up with us! Had to leave, just like a few other people! the ones that stayed did so only because they had already waited so long they hated to lose their place in line! Surprisingly bad experience Getting my first pair of glasses was turned into a nightmare having chosen to buy from Visionworks. Barbara who fitted me was great! Then came the workmanship issues. My glasses never seemed right, so i didn't wear them. One day on the way to the coast I thought I'd try them again, and held them up to the light to see if they were clean and they had horizontal lines in both lenses that were not scratches. Excellent Service, A+, Wonderful Experience!!!!! I have been seeing Dr. Nicole Golding, the optometrist at VisionWorks for a couple of years. She is attentive, knowledgable, friendly, and efficient! When I moved here, she immediately diagnosed my astigmatism and corrected it properly, where my previous, trusted family eye doctor had misdiagnosed it for years! Best you could ask for... Here you have an office- where as I was there recently- I watched them buzz around efficiently in both spanish & english (and probably another I didn't recognize!!!). Yet, it's as calm and relaxed as sitting at home. These people really know the meaning of the word service- and intend to handle it! I walked out After filling out insurance information. I waited more than 35 minutes for a scheduled appointment without being processed. When I asked if it would be much longer, the employee was rude and dismissive. In general, the employees all seemed rather unhappy and, on top of everything else, the bathrooms are disgusting. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I would strongly recommend not going anywhere near this establishment.
Love it I loved this place. I had my glasses break and one of the reps was nice enough to help me find a nice looking replacement pair and then replaced them for me. He also then went out of his way to find out if they had a deal going on at the time to give me the best price. Awesome place!
Long time, knowledgable staff & immediately acknowledged at entry! I went to 3 other retailers before going to visionworks in town! I walked out, I nearly got trampled upon by the one across from Gov. Sq. mall- nobody helped me and they had too many people there to know what was going on.
