Since my primary care and neurologist offices changed over to virtua it has become almost impossible to speak to receptionists in the offices where my doctors are, my messages are not given to my doctors, phones go unanswered entirely, or I get disconnected while waiting to be transferred to the local office.
We spent the past month in Virtua with a family member. He went in with "pneumonia", was treated for cancer (to which we never found out which type), and came out on hospice. The ironic thing is, he seemed to get worse with treatments. The entire process was completely frustrating, confusing, and ill-communicated to say the absolute least. I wish we didnt give Virtua as much time as we did, I will never allow anyone to admit me here for any medical condition.
once you get past the emergency room it's really nice, But their ER staff are the worst you're treated poorly half of them couldnt start an IV to save their lives. I will never go to the ER there ever again I've had to go three time each time same results.
not happy with Virtua right now my brother has been here for 7 weeks now, they can't seem to find the right psychotropic meds for him. now he's pretty much in a catatonic State not eating or moving on his own. now he has 2 bedsores. I don't understand it, if Virtua has an inpatient psych unit in Mount Holly why can't one of their psychiatrist come and check my brother. he needs help maybe this will grab their attention
After receiving a bill for a service I never received and multiple calls to the billing center, I still don’t have a response. I’ve been fighting with the billing department for over 3 months. I’ve made multiple calls and faxed multiple statements for my claim. I was charged in October of 2017 for occupational therapy that I’ve never stepped foot in a Virtua office since 1996.
