We have had two back to back bad experiences at Vintage. The food and service used to be excellent. Last night we ordered steaks and both were tough and not seasoned. Our server did not check on us until she brought us the bill. It is too bad that a once good place to eat has become so mediocre.
Disappointed we left home to go eat. We decided we wanted steak. Got into Vintage at 7:30. Husband ordered a T-bone . They were out. I ordered prime rib with baked potato. He settled for ribeye with baked potato . I was sitting with a straight view to kitchen. We ate our salads and ate some bread. Seemed like all orders popped up in the window for All tables at once. We ate here Thursday nite Oct. ,26 and the food was wonderful. Our waitress Tiffany was so great. We are from Blue Springs Missouri and will come back.
Third time I've gone there and the last time. Waitress forgot to put our order in. Came back to tell us they were out of what we ordered the kids. Kept pouring water in my Sprite. Got the steaks order all mixed up. Even forgot the sides on one order. Got the potatoes wrong. I consider a party of four adults and two kids a small party. One thing I can say at least this time they left the hair out of the meal unlike the last time.
I asked my waitress for suggestions and took her advice, it was superb (Cajun Chicken Pasta). The prices for the amount that is served is so reasonable. Great food, great service and great prices!
