Dr. Shah is very professional. He operated on my knee. I was up and walking the same day. He doesn't push you to have surgery. He explains everything from the beginning to the end.
Dr. Shah was recommended by my oncologist to see about me knee pain. I waited far too long to have any help with the pain I was having. Set up appt., got in to see Dr. Shah, after having the tests done at the hospital so that he could see the problem... Dr. Shah showed me on xray the severity of the problem,,, told him to schedule as soon as possible as I could no longer accept the pain.. he scheduled operation the next week, walked the next day after full replacement on knee. Why did I wait!
I am a 67 year old, very active woman who had severe knee pain and was previously told someday I would need a knee replacement. I knew Dr. Shah from a previous knee injury 5 years prior. Dr. Shah performed the surgery in early April and I have done incredibly well with his plan of care and post-op therapy. I have had no complications at all. I was walking independently after one week. My incision is hardly noticeable after 3 months. Thank you for giving me back my life.
I find his bedside manner comforting. He is highly professional, knows his business and likes a good laugh. Thank you for making my visits not scary.
Dr. Shah is very caring and professional. He spent a generous amount of time with me during my recent hip surgery and wanted to make sure I was informed about the whole process. I would definitely recommend him to any family or friends.
Dr.Shah went above and beyond for me. I unfortunately came to him with quite a bit of baggage and he hung in there with me the whole way. What an amazing surgeon and man. He says he treats his patients like family and that's exactly how I felt. He took great care of me both physically and mentally. I would and will recommend him to everyone. After all, if he can handle everything I threw at him, he can handle anything!!! I can't thank you enough Dr. Shah, for everything you did for me!!
Dr Shah did my knee replacement in Aug. 2016. I had the surgery on Monday and was sent home on Tuesday. The care was exceptional! A friend of mine had her total knee replacement up in Chicago with one of the "best" orthopedic surgeons. She and I would compare notes following post op. I believe because of the excellent skills, knowledge, and experience Dr Shah, my healing time was quicker with better results. My friend had to go back into surgery for a knee manipulation. Dr Shah truly cares
Dr. Shah performed my anterior hip replacement. Dr. Shah is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon with the best demeanor you can ask for. He makes sure he answers all my questions, is extremely thorough in all aspects, and treats me as a person, not a number. I was also very impressed with his procedures for infection control. I was well informed prior to surgery, as well as after, by Dr. Shah and his staff. He is a very effective communicator. I highly recommend Dr. Shah to anyone!
I went to Dr. Shah on a recommendation from my friend and patient of his. I had knee problems for a long time and I kept putting off the inevitable. I have been to a few other places over the years but first few minutes in the examination room I knew I was in the right place. Dr. Shah clearly explained everything that was going bad with my knees and how they can be fixed without making me feel he was pushing me into surgery (which I was scared to death of). Had knee replacement surgery on both.
