Saw Dr. Shah on account of right hip pain and having difficulty walking. Dr. Shah was the only physician who could recognize that my hip was bone on bone. I had been suffering for 4+ years with other doctors telling me it was my osteoarthritis and wanting to prescribe anti-inflammatories, pain management/chiropractic care. An upright x-ray was taken showing the bone on bone. Dr. Shah indicated that a total hip replacement was needed.
Dr Shah's talent is very appreciated! While talking with my husband, he looked directly at the patient and spoke in terms he could understand. At one point in the recovery phase, he was feeling down, Dr Shah looked him straight in the eye and said "we are going to get through this together." My husband felt committed and more at ease after hearing this. His Quality of Life has improved so much, no walker, no cane and riding a bike. This has been a true blessing. I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Shah. I had a arthritic hip, I had been suffering with for a couple years. Dr. Shah ordered X-RAYS of the hip and determined I was a candidate for hip replacement. The surgery was scheduled and performed. It was a same day surgery procedure. I immediately noticed relief from the pain and was able to walk without pain. The professionalism of Dr. Shah and his staff made my surgery a life changing experience.
