REVISED UPDATE: It's become clear that there is no benefit to residents. This is a money grab, pure and simple. I guess Kane has decided our nickels and dimes would look better in their pockets. Kind of wild to have value stripped from you and then being asked to pay for it. NHID is cool, but this is crazy. For $600/year, we are: - losing the ability to have unlimited guests (which they are trying to frame as a positive - kind of insulting); - having access routes throughout the parking deck stripped from us to make room for... read more
I’ll echo what others have said: Vine has gone downhill — fast. When I first moved in, parking was free, plentiful, and guest-friendly. Now? Residents are being slapped with $50/month per car — a hidden rent hike for a problem that NEVER existed. To add insult to injury, retail visitors now get priority access to the garage, leaving residents paying for spaces that aren’t even guaranteed. Make that make sense. And the cherry on top? They’ve eliminated the cut-throughs, making an already clunky garage setup even more of a dum... read more
The situation with the parking lots is absolutely unacceptable. Property owners has shown zero regard for residents’ needs or concerns. They’ve not only made the parking situation worse, but now they have the audacity to start charging for it. This is beyond frustrating and deeply disappointing. I will not be renewing, and I strongly urge others to stay away.
I have been a resident of Vine for quite some time, and as it stands right now, I do not recommend that anyone sign a lease with this complex. The parking situation, number and quality of social events, and living situation in general has gone down hill since I moved in. When I first moved into Vine, parking was free. There was an option to reserve a spot for $50/month and guests could get (unlimited) complimentary parking passes from the office or park on the top (8th) floor for free. To be very clear, there was never an is... read more
On year 4 of my lease and editing a previously 5-star review down to a 1-star. Going to preface by saying that the on-site Property Management team is fantastic and responsive. All around, excellent people to work with. My edit of this is related to ownership's decision regarding parking fees. When I moved in, the parking deck serviced Vine exclusively. Since then, it now services Vine, Channel House, Maker's Alley retail, and an office property. There are effectively two entrances: One on Church at North Hills Street and th... read more
