When X-rays showed I was due for a full knee replacement, I did due diligence in selecting and interviewing several highly recommended and respected surgeons specializing in this procedure. Dr. Vincent Russo was my top choice and I have been fully satisfied and grateful for my surgical outcome thanks to his excellent competence and care. His colleague CK and office staff are exemplary at their important work of scheduling, communication. Dr. Vincent is a consummate caring professional!
Doctor wants your money for treatment up front before any injections are performed!! Ordered Synvasc-One injection for my knee for appointment 3 weeks away. When I got to the office (45 minute trip one way), the office staff said the medicine hadn’t come in!! Had to reschedule and come in the following day for the injection. I don’t really know if the staff is incompetent or just plain stupid! Whatever the case, this doctor needs to retire and get rid of his office staff at the same time!!
I had right knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Russo 9 weeks ago,. Excellent outcome. I just finished physical therapy (at Spooner which he recommended and is a great PT facility). I have no knee pain and am only dealing with some residual stiffness since all of my swelling has not yet subsided. Dr. Russo also performed acl replacement surgery on my wife about 9 years ago. I am 6 weeks after my total knee replacement and couldn't be happier. I may be unusual, but I have an amazing 136' range of motion and have experienced hardly any pain after the 1st two weeks. I appreciated the time Dr. Russo and his PA, CK, spent with me spent with me and I've already recommended him to several friends. Dr. Russo is doing my second knee in March. I reserched several doctors and couldn't be happier with my selection.
I had a right total knee reconstruction and I couldn't be happier. My recovery was easy, my incision looks great and I can now walk without pain or fear of my knee giving out. Dr. Russo is amazing and I can't thank him enough for making my life easier with my new knee. His office staff was easy to work with and was able to help me with scheduling and insurance questions. BEWARE, Dr. Vincent Russo is “In the business of making money, not giving away treatment”. These words were used by Dr. Russo to explain his actions and broad sweeping office policy to stop accepting ANY medical insurance for injections that he himself recommended/prescribed to my father as relief for chronic pain while awaiting surgery. * Due to text limitations see continued complaint in additional reviews.

Dr. Vincent Russo and his staff are very friendly and compassionate. Both my husband and I have had a total knee replacement by Dr. Vincent Russo. He is very knowledgeable about the procedure and explained it in terms we understood. We are extremely pleased with the quality of care we received by Dr. Vincent Russo and the hospital. Our recovery was excellent, very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Dr. Vincent Russo is an excellent doctor, we highly recommend him.
Dr Russo replaced my right knee two months ago. I did not have much pain, and within two weeks I was able to walk a half-mile. He and his staff were great to deal with; always available to discuss any concerns. I look forward to getting the other knee done soon.
My 82 year old husband recently had a total knee replacement done by Dr Vincent Russo and in a matter of 6 weeks he is walking painlessly and couldn't be happier. Dr Russo is an excellent ortho surgeon - he is an amazing surgeon - really an artist! Thank you Doctor for making my husbands life so much better.
