After a thorough search for an orthopedic surgeon to do my total knee replacement I found and interview Dr Vincent Russo. His staff was very helpful through the process. He was very patient with me and all my questions and concerns. I had my surgery on December 19th and I couldn’t be happier with my outcome. I shall be eternally grateful to Dr. Russo. He chose to take an 87 year-old woman with a heart problem, constant a-fib, and give her (me) the gift of a replaced knee. This allows me to stand straight and walk in comfort. I walled walked well within 10 days. Dr. Russo's support staff was superb, and so was the after care.
I recently had my second total knee replacement surgery with Dr. Russo. I'm very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Russo for this procedure.

Dr Russo is very competent; his knowledge & skills are well-documented My only complaint is that he appears to recommend surgery as a first resort rather than a last resort. I feel ALL options should be explored prior to going under the knife
Having a knee replacement is not an easy decision. However Dr Vincent Russo made it seem easier than I had expected, he had decades of experience and confidence that I would be happy. Boy was he right! First every appointment was prompt and on time. Day of surgery was exactly what I was told to expect and by early afternoon the day of surgery I had my first PT appt. At week 2 Dr Russo removed my bandage to reveal no staples to remove and the most beautiful scar that was very hard to see!
I'm a "young" 54 year old woman & I've been putting off total knee replacement for 10 long years! WHY? you may ask... I was worried about finding a doctor, that I felt completely confident in. At the first meeting, Dr. Russo and his staff were GREAT! I knew Dr. Russo was the DOC, so much so, that I set up my right knee surgery that day. It has been 2 months since and I feel great! In Nov. he is fixing my left knee! I'm so excited to have two working knees!
Dr. Russo is the best! After a few years of trying conservative treatments, we came to the decision that I needed a new knee. Six weeks out from surgery and I feel terrific! Thank you
Dr. Russo is an excellent surgeon, he repaired a torn miniscus and did a great job. He and his staff are very responsive and professional. I will definitely recommend him to everyone and return with any future issues with my arthritic knees.
