When I did my research for the most experienced and skilled orthopedic surgeon with the best results on total knee replacement, I found Dr Vincent Russo. He did a total knee replacement on me the middle of May. I could not be more pleased with my outcome. I will have Dr Russo do my other knee when it is time to do it. He is an excellent surgeon. His office staff is friendly, efficient and very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Vincent Russo.
Dr. Russo is an outstanding surgeon. He performed a total knee replacement on me in early May, and I couldn't be happier with the results. At six weeks post-op, I am already doing things I couldn't do for months and years before surgery. Dr. Russo carefully explained the procedure and answered all my questions. The office staff are friendly, efficient, and made the pre-authorization process seamless. I work in healthcare and have already recommended Dr. Russo to colleagues.
Dr Russo is as good as it gets, a true professional. He's been an asset to the Scottsdale Medical Community. He's great with explaining what to expect and tells it like it is. Dr Russo performed knee replacement surgery on my right knee on March 6, 2018. He is very available both before and after the surgery. He visited me in the hospital each morning. I have seen him and his son, Matthew, who now practices with him regularly after the surgery. His staff is wonderful. They answer your questions immediately when you call. My physical therapist thinks they are the very best orthopedic surgeons.
I am a retired heart surgeon and believe I am in a good position to evaluate another surgeon's performance. Dr. Vincent Russo did a total knee replacement on me in January 2018. The results have been excellent. His skill, experience, and consideration for his patients are exemplary. I would recommend Dr. Russo without reservation. He's among the very best.
I just had my right hip replaced on 2/20/18 by Dr Vincent Russo and could not be more pleased. He did my left on 3/15/16. I was in horrible pain before the surgeries and I followed Dr Russo's advice for both hips and I am so happy with the outcome. He is a great surgeon. I am now pain free and will recommend him to anyone and do.
Dr. Russo and his staff are excellent. Made the pre and post surgical process seamless. Was thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. I will have Dr. Russo do my other knee when it is time. Could not have asked for a better team or doctor! Absolutely outstanding!
After many recommendations I chose to have Dr. Russo do my knee. My first contact with Dr. Russo was friendly and very informative. The office staff are very efficient. All the appointments necessary for the surgery and after visits were set up at the same time. Scheduling made it very easy to plan your time. The surgery went off without a problem and my PT has been much easier than I expected. I need to have my other knee done and I will definitely have Dr. Russo do it.
This man has no compassion for heavier set people. She went to go see Dr Russo last week, Monday 02/12/2018, as he was recommended by a close friend. My mother, a little over weight but nothing crazy, has had weight issues since her hips (both) started to go bad a few years back. During the app, he spend 10 minutes with her, 6 of those mins were fat shaming her. He scheduled the surgery and left. He didnt even have the time to explain the surgery to her. We have since cancelled the app.

I regret that you were not present for your mother's office visit and did not hear first-hand the conversation she and I had regarding her weight and the proposed surgery. I expressed my genuine concern for her health and the increased probability of a better outcome following surgery with some weight reduction. There was no intent to "fat shame". It was an honest presentation of information that is well-documented in the medical literature and my 35 years of orthopedic surgical experience .
