Took an antique clock in for repairs. The owner is knowledgeable about antique clocks and has my confidence.
Spent my lunch hour to go to Vina's to have batteries put in my three casio watches. As I pulled them out of my bag I got a swift NO. I asked to be sure..."No". I asked politely for a recommendation on where to go. Go to "watch repair shop" was the answer. Not impressed whatsoever with the dismissive and kurt response and will replace the batteries myself.
If I could give negative stars would have given, I requested to change batteries for my two watches. He just looked at the watches and rudely told me they need fixing. Anyways I just walked away with my watches and replaced the battery myself with a watch repair kit. I wonder whether people will trust to buy jewelry in this store, me not in a million years.
Stopped in… very friendly… replaced the battery in my watch within 5 minutes… and for very reasonable cost. Would totally recommend them!
Had him replace a clasp on a 14k chain. Paid, picked up chain ( he kept the original clasp for free!) 3 weeks later new clasp broke ( almost lost 3 diamonds!) was working so took about ten days to get it back to him. Wouldn’t honour the repair. Warranty is 30 days. What??? Stupidly had him fix it again and paid again and it lasted 2 days. He was soooo rude and made endless excuses. I went to real repair shop. No issues fixed right.
