I arrived at Vimala's today excited about the prospect of getting my favorite eggplant curry for lunch only to find the cafe closed in honor of International Worker's Day. Though I love that curry, and all of the other vegan options available there, I love a business with a social conscience even more. Thank you for this stance and all of the many others you have taken to support the best human ideals. It is appreciated!
hands down the BEST Indian food in the Triangle. Love everything about this cafe from the kombucha on tap to the decor to the wonderful service and chefs - just amazing!!

Stay away from this hellhole! Absolutely awful place. Unsanitary conditions. Food tasted bland and gave us food poisoning. Could not finish it all despite being hungry. The restaurant reeks of ammonia or other cheep disinfectant. Health Department should close them out ASAP. Horrible joint. Yuck!
