I was hired to DJ at this place and the manager (black slick hair) told me to not play "ethnic music." He comes up to me and starts ranting about vintage, american music while I was playing James brown. Pretty sure that's as American as it gets. Or did they think they hired a bluegrass /Zydeco DJ or something? Shade. Trying to do my best, I asked him to tell me what genres he was looking for. Nice atmosphere. Wonderful live music by a friend's band. Nachos were fantastic as well.
