DO NOT believe the hype – I would have to agree with the reviewer CSMobileUser2. The crust is simply too thin. Even folded over, the slice sags and droops and ingredients fall off. They fall off because there is hardly any cheese to hold them down, and that's IF they're even placed under the cheese to begin with, which, sadly for some by the slice orders, they are not. And Mapleman, their sausage IS incredible. It's incredible a place boasting pride and tradition in their pizza still uses that crappy, crumbly sausage that ev... read more

The worst pizza ever! – Every New Yorker knows a good slice is hard to find in LA, so when you hear of pizza spot that prides itself for being New York OG one naturally gets excited. Don't! Or you will be as disappointed as we were. Everything from poor service to the cheap ingridients to the undercooked sicilian with barely any cheese to the sloppy topping distribution, you name, it was amatuer and basically vulgar. So unfortunetly another fake marketing trap you need to avoid.

NY Pizza Done Right In LA – Founded by former Brooklyn-ites, this pizza joint is all about NY, down to its decorations (NY inspired memorabilia), which keeps the spirit of the Big Apple alive. Their delicious, hand-spun pizzas are wrapped with dough made daily and contain no additives, while the toppings are ripe, fresh and California grown.

Great Pizza – I have only ordered once from Village Pizza however it was very easy. I was able to place my order online and someone called to confirm the order and 20 minutes later they were at my door. Great Service!!! The food is also very very good!

Pizza! – They have the best thin crust pizza here and what separates them from everyone else is their crust!! The garlic rolls are also very very good and price is so affordable! $8.50 for a whole lunch special (which includes an individual pizza of 6-8 slices, a side salad, garlic roll and drink)

Soggy pizza – I've been ordering pizza from village for a few years and have usually been very satisfied.....but lately, the pizza has become too soggy. Ask for it extra crisp does not matter. I will give it one more try then will need to find a new neighborhood pizzeria :(

Convenient location, poor service, mediocre pizza – My husband and I love pizza and we love walking on Larchmont. Although we have dined at Village Pizzeria a dozen times, our experience is always the same. The wait staff seems to rush us through our meal, giving us the check before we have asked for it, even when there is no one waiting for a table. The pizza is just OK. It's usually a little soggy because they don't bake it long enough but the toppings and the thickness of the crust are good. If I order a slice of pizza, I... read more

It's a Pizzeria not the four seasons – This place is superb. Great pies, great toppings, quickly made. If you are sitting down, relax, if you are ordering form your house, pick it up. It's too good of a pie to complain.
