finally! – finally good pizza in LA. Great, simple NY pizza. The subs aren't east coast portions, but they are tasty.
**REAL** New York Pizza!! – I grew up in New York City -- Home of THE BEST Pizza in the world -- and I am here to tell you -- the Village Pizzaria is hands-down THE BEST *Real New York* Pizza in Southern California!! Having lived in So. Cal and sampled many pizzas here -- some very very good -- there is no pizza I've ever had in So. Cal. that is as New York as the Village Pizzaria. What's more, the service is impeccable, prices are reasonable and I have NEVER had even 1 order confused by anyone. Guess this all comes from the... read more
Magically Delicious! – This place rocks! The pizza is delicious and the slices gargantuan. Try it. You'll like it.
Villaarrgh Pizzeria – What you order isn't always what you get. Despite a relatively easy order half the pizza slices arrived with the wrong toppings (3/6). Service was also slow and the pizza not actually that great. The position of pizza-maker was posted at the door. Maybe we got the stand-in. Allied to the difficult parking overall experience was fair to middlin'.
Village Pizzeria is the Best – Consistently the best good, hot, fresh, pizza in Los Angeles. And it's great leftover and cold. Of course it's crowded, it's excellent. And I'm glad it's not expanding to meet demand, as that might mean Steve would need to cut corners. I'll gladly wait for a table and take in the stellar view of Larchmont's pedestrian traffic, which is, er, arousing. The crust and cheese are the best.
A+ NY Style – If you're lucky, Owner Steve will be hanging around outside watching the wait staff run around like crazy. Excellent pizza but be patient, usually only 1 or 2 people are on hand to serve.
luv this pizza! – This is one, if not THE best NYC style pizza I've had. Only downside is that is does get very crowded during the lunch hour, (best time to go is after 3pm or weekends) which makes it virtually impossible to get a table or parking...but it's worth it!
pretty good! – the Eggplant parm sandwich is the best I've found in L.A. Virtually stuffed to the gills and oily and with good sauce. Pizza's pretty darn tasty too.
Excellent pizza and rolls. Great locations, good for lunch or quick bite
