The food and service at Village Cafe is always excellent! They definitely have me and my wife as repeat customers when we are in the area.
The food at the Village Cafe' is excellent, by far the best in Hampstead. Our Valentine's dinner was perfection. The restaurant was packed but service was still acceptable. We go often for lunch and dinner. Both the food and service are much improved compared to the past years. I would suggest something to absorb the noise, like curtains or acoustic tiles. Sound tends to reverberate when there are a lot of diners which can be annoying. Otherwise, a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
Local restaurant in small town. Good food, good prices, friendly owner.
Had lunch with my son. Service was good, casual, but expected. Food was good. Everything was cooked well. My sons grilled ham and cheese looked delicious. Home made chips were perfect which is not always the case with some restaurants. I had a chicken Gouda sandwich which tasted great. My only suggestion would have been to butterfly the breast so it fit on the bun better. I don't go here enough!
This place has great food with a great staff. It is one of those places that you feel appreciated as a customer. We went there for thanksgiving and will do it again.

Great Thanksgiving at Village Cafe...food was delicious and Mo was the bomb. We are grateful to the chef, staff and owners for all your hard work and beautiful attitudes to make us happy for Thanksgiving.
