The Village has been a neighborhood favorite for decades. Best-selling novelist and Richmond native, Tom Robbins, used to frequent the joint. The servers are notoriously rude, but that is part of the charm. Their behavior is not so offensive as to prevent guests from having a positive experience. The Village is our absolute favorite spot when visiting our son at VCU. The food is great, the milkshakes are fantastic & we have never had a bad meal. It's become a tradition!
