Attended our cities local home and garden show to check out the small business in the area. Met with Villa Landscapes and scheduled a consultation for a job we were planning for our backyard. They came out and the woman listened to our needs and concerns for the project and said they would get back to us with a quote. We have never heard from them again. As part of my project, they removed several 50+year-old rare peony plants that were meant to be preserved by having the hardscape created as a memorial garden. Ever since I gave them kind and honest feedback about their lack of management on my job leading to those plants being lost, they have done everything possible to avoid fixing costly mistakes they left that were never part of the project scope to begin with. Project: Clean & remove our brick pavers from current patio as well as remove all our railroad tie planters & retaining walls. Create new stone retaining walls with seating, planters, and reset all our brick pavers to patio surface. Add lighting to sitting walls & steps. We are SO pleased with our final result! Project: Patio with pavers including a border; curved sitting wall; worked around our hot tub that was already there and made the patio and hot tub look like it was done at the same time. Lighting in the sitting wall and trees added a nice touch too! Area: Inver Grove Heights Scott and his crew are the best!
