Dr. Rasquinha and his compitent staff were wonderful to work with. Their attentiveness to detail and my weekly progress throughout my recovery from a total knee replacement were beyond my expectations. Thanks to the entire staff, I'm enjoying better mobility and no pain!! See you next fall for the left knee!!
Dr. Rasquinha is an amazing Orthopedic surgeon just as he mentioned to me my knees needed total replacement. The first knee done in 2015 great experience the second In 2017 even better experience.Walked 100yards after surgery and then was discharged 24hours later and recommended that I start physical therapy. At the age of 50 and physically good health was the best decision he could have made. Dr. Rasquinha and his staff were amazing and can’t forget Northwell Health hospital is the best in NY !
Dr Rasquinha and his PA’s are excellent. They are kind, professional and very skilled. I felt extremely confident in having a total knee replacement with Dr Rasquinha and his team.
He has a very unfriendly bedside manner look, but when you start speaking with him you feel differently about him. His main goal is his patient, to make sure they get the best of care. He is very thorough about everything. He answers all your questions in a way that you could understand. He does not drop you as a patient after the surgery. He keeps in touch and is not only interested in the part of the body that he fixed but about your overall health. Him and his team are always there for you

I highly recommend Dr. Rasquinha for anterior total hip replacement. I had my other hip done by an equally wonderful doctor, but it was via the posterior method which involves cutting through muscle and has an arduous recovery period. Dr. Raquinha is a true professional. He is a thorough, no-nonsense doctor and I find myself telling people of my age bracket( 60's) that he is the best of the best.My recovery has been great. His team is super and I had a private room at LIJ. Look nowhere else!

I was very pleased with Dr. Rasquinha and his team. My only regret is not opting for my knee replacements earlier. The difference is life-changing. I could not comfortably walk a hundred feet without having to sit and rest, with knee pain. I am able to walk a couple of miles a day now, and enjoy it! For me, the surgery and rehab was made as least painful as possible, and I was shocked to be able to walk immediately after surgery. I am very grateful.
I am so happy that I chose Dr. Rasquinha for my total knee replacement surgery. Preparations for presurgery were very helpful. After the surgery, I was felt no pain. Other than getting my reflexes working again, I have no problems with my knee, other than nerve zingers, which is expected. The program of care that Dr. Rasquinha prescribed was very beneficial for me. I was able to go home, receive 2 weeks of visits from a PT and subsequently start therapy that lasted for 2 months. I recommend him.
