Vigilante is one of the downtown Hyattsville stores that contributes greatly to the area's revitalization. It has the character of a DC coffee shop, but I don't have to drive all the way from Bowie, MD to enjoy it.
Very Poor customer service. I was just overlooked by the whole crew waited over 10 mins for a cup of black coffee that was all ready made and just to the right of the cashier. I had no clue as I watch everybody that arrived after me being served there orders. It was my second time there and last... I had to grab my refund and rolled out. ~Bryant

I have visited this gem several times in the past two weeks! The coffee is delicious as are the acai bowl and the chocolate chip cookie! There's nothing like flaked sea salt and chocolate! Yesterday, we spent a cold and rainy afternoon there sipping an amazing chai latte and a hot chocolate! The chai was so smooth and spicy while the chocolate shavings in the hot chocolate brought the biggest smile to my guy's face! I couldn't sip the chai, it was gone in a matter of minutes! We will be back! Probably tomorrow! 😬
