Dr Friesen is an incredible psychologist. She is kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and generous. I received a cognitive assessment from her. It was very detailed and useful, and was worth every penny. I highly recommend the Victoria Memory clinic for assessments.
I had read a collection of articles on TMS treatments as a non-invasive therapy and it peaked my interest. I have had a long standing sleeping disorder coupled with sleep anxiety since peri- menopause. For over a decade I requested and was prescribed a prescription sleep medication. I’m so thankful for the Victoria Memory Clinic. Dr. Friesen and her staff were kind, patient, and so helpful. They took the time to listen and answer questions. They also helped us think about realistic options. I’m so glad I didn’t let older reviews discourage me from coming here. Had I waited, we would likely still be stuck in the island health backlog. I don’t think the older reviews are a fair representation of this clinic. I would absolutely recommend the Victoria Memory Clinic to one needing help.
This is only an assessment office. It is not a memory clinic. They merely test and say good bye. There is no follow up program.
This clinic was very disappointing. Apparently she asks questions for you that gives her a wrong conclusion. I had previously worked with concussion specialists that were extremely helpful. I workwd with a specialist for over a year with very different,but more helpful results. Unfortunately the few hours I spent with her assistant came to no conclusion.
