Dr Nwakakwa has been my doctor since Dr. Saco retired. However, this year I decided enough is enough. He and his staff have no concern for your time. He only has office appointments one day a week and they start at 4 pm. If he runs late at the surgical center you could be waiting long past your appointment time, as I have. They are also experts at rescheduling you and then the rescheduled appointment will fall through, as well. Take my advice... There are better, more concerned doctors and staff out there.
I love this guy. He's friendly and I'd say overworked during my last appointment. Took good care when removing polyps during a colonoscopy.
Dr. Nwakakwa found that my appendix was extended during my routine colonoscopy. He referred me to an oncologist who recommended a cat scan. The cat scan revealed a malignant tumor on my appendix. It was removed. It also showed a possible problem with my esophagus and kidneys. An exploratory surgery of my kidneys showed a benign tumor in my bladder which was removed. Dr was nice. That was the only benefit. I scheduled months in advance. They cancelled and rescheduled. On the day of the procedure I had a 9:30 arrival and 10:30 procedure. At 9:30 he was already 30 minutes behind. Ok I get it. At 10 he was an hour behind. At 10:30 I was carried back then I had to wait until 1:30. All while hooked to an IV and nurses just checking on people. I was told I was next about 12:30 but the Dr was not even in the building. Dont schedule anything with this doctor or surgery center. They will reschedule multiple times with no concern or care about your time. Office personnel are rude!!Trust me
