I liked Dr. Sherman and thought she was very kind and helpful. I only saw her a couple of times before she delivered my baby though. Her office staff is great, Lori is awesome...however be prepared for a long wait at each appt.
I only saw Dr. Sherman one time before I had my son. Although, Lori was absolutely incredible. I wish she could have delivered my baby. The staff in the office is wonderful and helpful. I have spent anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours, waiting, however. My labor was horrible with Dr. Sherman. She was late and I couldn't push til she got there. Its hard to write a review about Dr. sherman since i never see her. I went an entire pregnancy as her patient and saw her twice before the delivery. Lori is amazing, i could not ask for a better person to help you with your pregnancy. But dr. sherman showed up to my delivery, said it was time to push then left the room saying "i have a salad in the car...". Between pushes dr. sherman and the nurses discussed the pregnancies of other women and friends of theirs. I had to have my nurse and husband alter her when i was ready to... read more
THis is my seconed time going to Dr. Sherman. I must say her and LOri are so wonderful. I'd make the 45min trip to see them in a heart beat. As a post above stated about the wife husband team, there are part of a team that Sherman works with. I am having a rough time this pregnancy, and they have been nothing but wonderful. Dr. Sherman mainly delivers at St. Josephs hospital, and I wanted to have my births at Tucson Medical Center. Was not my doctor, but she delivered my first child because my doctor was not on call. I found her to be very warm and pleasant, and she helped make my first delivery a good experience.
I completely disagree with the last comment. Any OB office is going to have a long wait. Dr.Sherman and Lori are always worth it. They are both extremely caring and knowledgable and have a wonderful staff.
Dr. Sherman's office will be the wait of your life. I've waited anywhere from an hour to three hours on visits. There is never anything less than a 45 minute wait for a scheduled appointment. It's ridiculous! And they try and get you out of there as soon as possible. The reason this is is because they are consistently understaffed. A simple solution to this is to call patients and inform them of a very long wait and to come in later, of course the staff can't think of it. Don't waste your time at all at this office.
