I will never have the words to express my gratitude for VOMC. Last year, our dog Jack was hit by a car, resulting in a CCL tear (although we didn’t know it at the time). After several months of misdiagnoses and conflicting advice from other vets, we finally broke down and made the decision to drive to VOMC to get some answers from an actual ortho vet. After close to a year of being in and out of a terrible emergency vet for our dog’s broken leg, we were referred here by our primary vet for a consultation on bone grafting for his recovery. The doctor took a close look at him walking up and down the hall and saw his leg was majorly atrophied due to his lack of movement (at the order of the emergency vet for close to a year!!!) and told us to just let him go and stop keeping him confined. Dog has been great ever since!!!

Replaced both of our dogs knees, very friendly and good follow up.
Excellent service, very caring and professional. Large clean seperate rooms for the pets and a waiting room. Very expensive $$$$
