I have had a decent experience at this VA... however, today my husband talked to his docs nurse and they wrote him a prescription without checking his records. Thank god for the pharmacist that noticed his allergies and rejected a script. . All because the nurse/doc didn't take 2 minutes to check his stuff!

Terrible treatment today from a Lying Scum Sucking Dog that works in the Travel Office (JP) and his "BUDDY" who works in the Employee Advocate's Office Against Patient Complaints or "I'll Cover Your Ass If You're A Buddy Of Mine Office." Well after waiting for a year plus for Denver to do anything I was told to try this facility. Response was quick and service was very good at the start and I started to go to the clinic here when asked, it has recently been downhill here lately. There has been a big change over of people that we had before, calling for appointments now can take several days if you succeed at all. If you are having problems of any sort anyway the way to solve it it to give medication rather than work on the problem. Yes I was having problems ... read more
This facility is one of the most respectful and willing to serve and learn that I have seen.
So, after the doctor saw me and said I needed x-rays, blood work and pain medicine through an IV, 47 minutes later still no nurse should up. After I complained they told me they would look up my blood work and x-rays. WHICH I still haven't gotten yet. So much for " emergency room."
The staff, most of them, Are top quality folks. I'm here on a daily basis and everyone is very kind and generous. A good safe place.
When my Husband Robert Keene was admitted to Hospice on October 22nd to the time he passed away in Hospice November 23rd this year they all took such excellent care of him and treated him with dignity and respect- the staff -especially CNA Brittney & Kari Primak were just wonderful - we will always be grateful for the wonderful care he received
With all the current ado regarding the VA in general, I offer the following: I recently had a few procedures performed the the Cheyenne VAMC. My highest accolades go out the Dr.s' and staff. I had caratacts removed from both eyes by Dr. Patricia Stepp. I stop short of saying it was a pleasant experience, but I was kept comfortable and painless by the entire staff, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Dr. Stepp was wonderful, both in surgery and all follow-up visits. In general, she showed she cared for the patient.... read more
