Because I was now in so much pain after waiting, once the doctor did arrive I wasn't able to turn properly and look at him directly, and I certainly couldn't look pleasant and attentive. And perhaps what I perceived coming from the doctor was just a reflection of that back at me. But my perception of the interaction was that the doctor was curt, displeased to be there, or otherwise uninterested. My memory could certainly be tainted by my pain or impatience.
Dr. Williams was very attentive, answered all my questions and prescribed the necessary medication.

Numbness in fingers. Doc thought nerve issue in neck or elbow and recommended injection in brachial plexus to determine. I asked why not do a nerve conduction test to see if it was in neck OR elbow, which has always been very accurate, but he said nope. I went in for injection. nurse hit nerve in my wrist when inserting IV. I screamed like never before; it felt like lightning struck me.
