Dr. Vemuri is very kind, considerate and caring. He is definitely someone to trust your health to. What I truly like is he listens to your health concerns and problems and looks out for your well being while advising what is best for you. I would recommend him and have to my friends.
Dr. Vemuri is outstanding. The problem is that I don't get to see him very often. I always see his P.A. which I don't care for at all. She is smug and condescending.
Dr. Vemuri was FANTASTIC!! I was having intense pain in my left leg as well as numbness. The MRI revealed a herniated disc at L4-L5. Dr. Vemuri's staff quickly arranged for an appointment and I was very confident in going forward with a discectomy after meeting with him. The surgery went very well, my pain was instantly eliminated and I'm back to life as usual! I highly recommend Dr. Vemuri, his staff is very helpful and overall it was a great experience.
Dr. Vemuri (and Dr. Goodin) was the only doctor that actually bothered to determine the cause of my pain. He explained what needed to be done in detail and performed the operation about 1 week later. It's been 3 weeks and the pain is gone and I haven't felt this good in 3 years. I highly recommend Dr. Vemuri to anyone he's the best you'll find. All the Dr's at Louisville Orthopedic are top notch. The staff treated me like I was their only patient. I'm very happy.
Dr Vemuri has being seeing and treating my mother for the past few years. He is a wonderful listener and is very caring with her. She has a very complex spine problem and he has spent a good amount of time going over the options and making sure she understands all the available treatments. We are grateful to have found him!
I waited two hours to see him and, when I did, he seemed completely indifferent. It was like pulling teeth to get him to describe my issues in any detail whatsoever. He was basically trying to turn patients out as quickly as possible to make more money. He is the worst specialist I have seen. Also, his office staff is heinous and nasty. I asked to speak with a manager and they hung up on me, and refused to answer when I called back. Unacceptable.
