I would never recommend Dr. Vemuri to anyone. My husband had surgery in January of 2021 that left his right quad paralyzed. He had to learn to walk again, it has been heartbreaking. And Dr. Vemuri was completely unconcerned. This has completely changed my husbands life. Months after this happened he saw another spine specialist who told him that this surgery isn't even performed any longer, it is completed outdated. My husband is still in physical therapy 2X a week to try and get as much use of his leg back as possible. PLEA... read more

I had complications in 3 out of 4 surgeries 1 of which resulted in an emergency surgery and am I CU stay and paralyzed diaphragm. The other 2 had to have redo.
Did surgery on my husband 3 times within 18 months. First surgery through front of neck. Was told would solve the problem. Did not! Was told he could go through back and solve his problem of pinched nerve. Had surgery and within a month the screws backed out of cage and one was pressing on a nerve. My husband was in excruciating pain and was placed back in hospital for a week awaiting return of Dr V Vemuri from Switzerland. Dr Vermuri is an amazing doctor he takes the time with his patient and explains everything to you he gives you all your options. I would highly recommend him.
I had cervicle spine surgery in March, the staples were taken out to early & a hole developed in my back which got infected & MRSA set in. We had to get 2 other Dr’s fix it .
I would recommend Dr. Vemuri to others. He is patient and explains diagnosis and all treatment options.
He was very thorough and discussed my options.
