I think Dr Vemuri is the best as his knowledge and mannerisms exceed all expectations.He is strait forward with his patients and compassionate about his practice
Not a Board Certified Doctor !! Hurt Me Real Bad !!
We brought my 94 year old mother-in-law to see Dr. Vemuri this past Thursday, as a follow-up visit from her 5 day hospital stay on 9/27/2019 for a spinal fracture. After sitting for over 30 minutes, I asked the ladies at the front desk if Dr. Vemuri could see her quickly, as she was in excruciating pain and on a portable O2 tank. 2 hours and 15 minutes later, we saw Dr. Vemuri. This was my first visit. Office staff very friendly. X ray tech kind . Dr Vemuri was very thorough. He took his time, explained what he saw on x Ray's so my husband and I could understand what going on with neck and hip. I was very impressed with Dr Vemuri and will recommend him to family or friend if the occasion arises. Dr Vemuri referred me to another doctor in the practice for further evaluation on hip. Recovering the from lower lumbar back surgery , I took meds to try to cope with the pain but It got to the point that i spent more and more time on the cough not working much and or enjoying my life , I made the decision to have back surgery it was performed by Dr vemuri at Louisville orthopedic, I was very pleased with him the surgery and the whole staff at Louisville orthopedic,So now with a little physical therapy I can enjoy my life and get that Appalachian trail off my bucket list , Thanks Donald long
This was a 5 month post op visit. Dr Vemuri was informative about the healing of my back.
Dr. Vemuri has helped me with 2 surgeries now, as well as several follow-up visits. He's always friendly, makes eye contact, so I feel like he's truly listening, takes the time to hear what I have to say, and actually responds to my questions. The office has been remodeled recently, and it has a feeling of being open, friendly, bright. They can get rather busy at times, so there are times when you can feel a bit rushed, but that can be said for most doctors' visits. Dr Vemuri did an ACDF on me in 2012 which gave me my career back. He was the only dr that listened to me after having severe radiculopathy in both hands but the scans didn’t look “bad” enough to another big wig dr in town. He just didn’t look close enough. Dr V looked at the whole picture and not just one symptom. This is what a D.O. does. I have a tiny scar and full mobility back. I am doing more now than I was before, 7 years later. I refer anyone to him that is in need of spinal care.
