About this business
The history of the Greenhouse goes back approximately 100 years. In the early 1900's it began as a six room apartment house. In 1932 during prohibition it was known as a speakeasy. In the late 30's and early 40's it became a tavern serving patrons on occasion such as the notorious Dillinger and friends. It’s a blast!! Tommy Pipino is great, knows how the keep the crowd going!!! Linda & Hector are fabulous bartenders & they are so pleasant & look like they’re enjoying themselves too���

I never really write reviews but although the place was beautiful and the staff were nice, the food sucked. For the price, I expected great quality food. I mostly had their seafood and even the shrimp wasn't good. I really wanted to like this place, the atmosphere is awesome, the food was just not that great and we went in hungry too... I also have to mention that we were in the Tiki place, so perhaps the menu is different there because all the other foods being mentioned in the other reviews were not available on the menu i... read more
My favorite Sunday Funday place
I have been going to the Greenhouse since I was about 4. My parents and grandparents were patrons and used to go in the back door right off the beach to quench their thirst and we got cokes! Food is great, drinks are great and the atmosphere is great. I only wish you could bring back the "Flintstones" the husband and wife duo who played music back in the '60's-70's. A lifetime favorite hangout - THE Greenhouse!
Excellent service, Great atmosphere, loved the lighting music and most of all the food was superb! Can’t wait to go back.
