About this business
The history of the Greenhouse goes back approximately 100 years. In the early 1900's it began as a six room apartment house. In 1932 during prohibition it was known as a speakeasy. In the late 30's and early 40's it became a tavern serving patrons on occasion such as the notorious Dillinger and friends. an outdoor bar with ocean view and a nice breeze...... congenial lady behind the bar, drinks were cold..... wasnt very busy but we were there before dinner.... wouldnt let us run a tab, that was kinda annoying... took my out of town guests there, they enjoyed it....
Love the Greenhouse, You can go after the beach on the deck , or a 1st class meal upstairs! Never Disappoints!!
The grilled tuna steak is off the charts with wasabi mayo and the service was quick & top notch! Thanks to Devon our gorgeous waitress!
Shared crab cake sandwich & turkey/cheese panini which were both excellent !!
